Carson went to Southern Methodist University to take both his studies and his connection to North Texas even further. He earned a B.F.A. in Theatre, having specialized in acting, as well as a B.A. in Political Science.
He's maintained his profile as a professional stage & screen actor while working on various political and public outreach campaigns in the time since his college graduation. These efforts have taken him to the further reaches of Texas, the midwest, and to New York City, where he lived during the majority of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Carson has a particular affinity for Shakespeare, but his body of work encompasses everything from contemporary American drama to theatre for young audiences. As a teaching artist, he educates children and teenagers cultivating their own interests in the performing arts.
He is currently based in North Texas, continuing to tell stories through theatre, film, and television.
